Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, the II Marine Expeditionary Force and our other tenant commands appreciate the enormous sacrifices made by our neighbors as we train for the defense of our country. Among those sacrifices is the occasional disruption of daily life by the sometimes intrusive noise caused by on-base training.
The II Marine Expeditionary Force and the other units that call Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and the coastal North Carolina region home, train hard to be ready at a moment's notice to answer our nation's call. Sometimes this fast-paced training results in loud artillery, low-flying aircraft, weapons or demolition noise.
We at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune pledge to do our best to keep our neighbors informed about when and where those disruptions are likely to occur by releasing a weekly noise report every Friday listing any potential noise generating events.
Please contact our dedicated noise abatement hotline with all concerns regarding noise, vibration, excessive dust, low-flying aircraft and/or maneuver damage from the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune area, by calling (910) 451-9079, or by email at CLJN_GLOBE_WEB@usmc.mil.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while our Marines strive to "train as they fight" every day - under the most realistic combat conditions using the best equipment and ranges available.
