Military Construction Projects across MCB Camp Lejeune

Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, home of expeditionary forces in readiness, is a warfighting platform from which our Marines and Sailors train, operate, launch and recover while providing facilities, services and support that meet the needs of our warfighters and their families.

MCB Camp Lejeune is home to over 36,000 active duty service members and serves an additional population of civilians, family members, retirees, and veterans--collectively totaling more than 120,000.

The sprawling installation includes 243 square miles of land of which 152 square miles are dedicated training areas with nearly 12 miles of beach frontage. With 98 live-fire ranges, 47 tactical landing zones and five military operations on urbanized terrain facilities, Camp Lejeune is the premier training area on the East Coast.

The installation is currently undergoing many state-of-the-art construction projects including several headquarters buildings, school houses, training sites, fire stations, medical home ports, mess halls and more.

Funding for these projects is sourced through several budgets including regular military construction and Hurricane Florence directed funding of $3.6 billion that was awarded in 2019.

Please note that the listed construction project completion dates are subject to change and will be updated periodically as necessary.
