Marine Corps Exchange looking for potential employees

The Marine Corps Exchange has plans to recruit potential employees and will conduct interviews for sales associate positions at most mini-mart and main exchanges on Marine Corps Installation- East, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River Aug. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The deadline to schedule an interview is 4 p.m. Aug. 16, and applicants must apply online at mccslejeune-newriver.com/jobs and search keywords ‘sales associates.’ Applicants will not be interviewed without scheduling online.

"The MCX hiring campaign is for people who are seeking retail employment opportunities, and want to obtain valuable training in sales association and job experience," said Catherine Bruggeman, the main store manager of the Marine Corps Exchange. "We have special focus on hiring for the main stores, especially the main store at New River, but we will also be hiring for Marine marts throughout Camp Lejeune and New River."

Applicants attending an interview should dress in proper attire consistent with business casual or more formal wear.

Civilian applicants with no Department of Defense affiliation will have shopping privileges at MCX locations and the use of Marine Corps Community Services recreational facilities as MCCS employees.
