A: In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to Trinity United Methodist Church at 301 Marine Blvd. adjacent to the intersection of Marine Blvd. (US-17 Business) and Johnson Blvd. (NC-24 Business).
Q: What are the procedures for getting a vehicle pass to attend the 30th Annual Beirut Bombing Observance ceremony?
A: A vehicle pass is not required to attend the ceremony as the Camp Lejeune Memorial Gardens are open to the public.

A: All parking adjacent to the ceremony site will be directed by the Camp Lejeune Provost Marshal's Office and the Jacksonville Police Department. There is no fee to park adjacent to the ceremony site.

A: Marines are requested to wear their Service Alpha uniform, Navy, Coast Guard, and USAF attendees are requested to wear their Service Dress Blue uniform and civilians are requested to wear appropriate civilian attire.

A: Currently, three events are scheduled on October 23, 2013 for the 30th anniversary of the Beirut Bombing: A private candlelight service for Beirut veterans and their families at 6:00 a.m., the Beirut Bombing Observance ceremony at 10:30 a.m. and a public Beirut Memorial wreath laying ceremony at Camp Geiger at 2 p.m.
Q: What are the procedures and eligibility requirements for staying at the Lejeune Inn aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune?
A: The Lejeune Inn is a temporary lodging facility open to all Active Duty, Retirees, Dependents and DOD employees. Leisure travel reservations may only be made 60 days in advance and may be made by calling (910) 451-3041 or by visiting the
Inns of the Corps reservation website. Due to very high demand, reservations are strongly encouraged.
