MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Lieutenant Gov. Beverly Purdue presents Maj. Gen. Robert C. Dickerson, commanding general, Marine Corps Base, with the Long Leaf Pine award for his history of service to the community at the Paradise Point Officer's Club June 13. The Long Leaf Pine award is presented to an individual for dedication and extended length to an organization as the State of North Carolina's highest honor.
