MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. ? Frank Schaffer, author of various books about the Marine Corps and recognized for his best seller ?Keeping Faith? signs his new book ?Baby Jack? at the Marine Corps Association Book Store here Oct 17. The book is a fictional story of a Marine born into a rich family and his struggle due to his decision. Michael and Joanne Ingram speak to Schaffer about their son Lance Cpl. Michael Ingram of Company D, 2nd Amphibious Assault Battalion, 5th Regimental Combat Team. ?We read ?Keeping Faith? while he was at boot camp and through his writing he has helped us through our son?s time away,? said Joanne Ingram. This tour is the second of three stops to Marine Corps bases; Schaffer?s next stop is the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C.
