Jesse L. Turner (center) was awarded the Federal Length of Service Award at the installation headquarters aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Sept. 12 after serving in the Coast Guard and later working as a safety specialist for recreation and off-duty safety program manager for 30 years. Brig. Gen. Thomas A. Gorry (right), commanding general of Marine Corps Installations East – MCB Camp Lejeune, presented the award to Turner.
