Darryl E. Leach, the owner of a local barber in Jacksonville, gives a haircut to Lance Cpl. Hayden Brown, a telephone systems and personal computer intermediate repairer with 2nd Intelligence Battalion at a barbershop in Jacksonville, N.C., Sept. 9. Leach greets service members with an infectious, upbeat and outgoing personality. After completing his active-duty service with the Navy he became a barber and worked in Philadelphia, but he returned to the crystal coast to serve those who serve in the military.
