Toshiko Iwasaki, wife of the Chief of Staff for Japan’s Self-Defense Forces Gen. Shigeru Iwasaki, listens to an explanation of the amenities offered at Wounded Warrior Battalion – East’s barracks given by Lt. Col. Nicholas Davis, commanding officer of Wounded Warrior Battalion- East, during a tour of the barracks aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Aug. 21. Davis showed Iwasaki the barracks where Marines in the battalion reside and explained some of the building’s features for injured Marines.
