U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) board U.S. Navy Landing Craft, Air Cushion 83, to embark on the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) at Onslow Beach, Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 5, 2017. The 26th MEU is scheduled to conduct Composite Training Unit Exercise, its final pre-deployment training exercise in preparation for an upcoming deployment at sea.
