Berry (center right), the commanding general and incoming sergeant major of Marine Corps Installations East – Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, stand with other installation commanders and sergeants major during the Marine Corps Installations East Commander’s Conference, a two-day event held at the Paradise Point Officers’ Club aboard Camp Lejeune, March 26 and 27. The conference provides an avenue for leaders to gather and discuss matters pertaining to the seven East Coast installations that fall under MCIEAST. Leaders walk away with a level of common understanding of the circumstances, conditions and intentions of the command over the next six to 12 months.
