Staff Sgt. Christopher Balance, combat instructor with the Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, Camp Geiger, instructs a Navy SEAL from the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story, Va., on calculating various target points on a mortar plotting board during an Infantry Mortars Leader Course, recently. The SEAL unit’s visit was in order to learn the mortar system and operations for themselves in the event they needed indirect fire support while deployed to a combat zone.
