Cpl. Ryan Muzzell, a lifeguard with the beach detachment, Company A, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, and a rifleman with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, conducts a walking patrol of Onslow Beach, June 10. Onslow Beach lifeguards, many of whom recently returned from combat missions overseas, provide oversight to beach patrons along the officer, enlisted and staff noncommissioned officer beaches.
