Headquarters Support Battalion with Marine Corps Base hosted their Holiday Jubilee, Dec. 4th, at Goettge Memorial Field House. The event was for all the battalion's military staff and their families. During the evening, a free, full buffet was provided, children had the opportunity to have their face painted, and a special live performance of holiday music was presented by the Lejeune High School jazz band, directed by Mr. Tim Tyson, Lejeune High School's band director. Children sized tables were set up with crafts for children of all ages to make. Clowns were in attendance during the evening's festivities to provide some extra entertainment for children with making balloon animals and toys. Santa and his friends even stopped by, which put huge gleaming smiles on children's faces. Those who paid Santa a visit could sit on his lap and tell him what was on their Christmas lists, and afterward, Santa gave each child a bag filled with goodies and a candy cane.
