Maj. Gen. Carl B. Jensen takes command of Marine Corps Installations East from Maj. Gen. Robert C. Dickerson Jr., during a ceremony held in the traffic circle on Holcomb Boulevard here July 30. Maj. Gen. Jensen congratulated Maj. Gen. Dickerson on his retirement and all he had achieved, asking him if he would dismiss the command at the end of the ceremony. He also spoke on his plans for the future saying, "I'm going to build upon your success and bring this community to new heights. It's a great assignment, and I look forward to it."
