Extension of live fire training into range quiet hours
28 Jul 2017

Beginning Monday, July 31 through Friday, August 4, there will be a comprehensive artillery battalion live fire and maneuver exercise on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. This exercise will include close air support as well as artillery fire into both impact areas on the base.

Firing will occur outside of normal quiet hours until 2 a.m. for the duration of the exercise.

This exercise supports training by 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, and it has received approval from II Marine Expeditionary Force and Base Operations.

The community's patience and understanding is appreciated as the base strives to provide the best possible training experience for our nation's Marines and Sailors.
