Rapidgate to take effect Feb. 23

MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River will be implementing RAPIDGate for non-military persons or an organizations such as a vendor, a contractor, a sub-contractor or a service provider who routinely conducts business aboard the base beginning Feb. 23.

            Those who do not wish to participate in the program will be issued a one-time 30-day pass followed by a subsequent requirement to renew the pass every four days at the Installation Contractor Vetting Office, potentially impacting businesses and their personnel with longer waits.
