Headquarters and Support Battalion will hold its first InfoPalooza to provide service members and spouses information about programs and opportunities available to them, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Marston Pavilion aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, July 30.

“The event provides a venue for members of the Headquarters and Support Battalion community to learn about resources available to them” said Rhonda Tomlinson, a family readiness officer with Headquarters and Support Battalion. “There are a lot of useful programs service members and their spouses don’t know about until they come to the InfoPalooza,” Tomlinson added.

There will be classes on computer usage, Naval Hospital services and information on college degree programs offered through the Base Education Center.

A fitness exhibit will highlight the benefits of programs like Semper Fit and other fitness programs.

Patrons are not required to bring anything to attend. Refreshments will be provided free of charge.

“It’s a good opportunity for spouses to network with other spouses as well as learn about upcoming events,” said Tomlinson.
