CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory which is in effect until 10 a.m. Saturday with the most significant impacts beginning at 4 p.m. today including freezing rain and black ice, making travel conditions hazardous. All military and civilian personnel should contact their chain of command or work supervisors for any questions regarding work schedules. All MCCS facilities will close at 4 p.m. today except for the CDCs which will close at 5 p.m. DoDEA and Onslow County schools have cancelled all after-school activities. Normal operations are in effect at mess halls, the commissary, Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, and installation gates. Please refer to www.lejeune.marines.mil for further updates.
