Camp Lejeune Sets TCC V effective 1200, Aug. 31, 2023. All personnel should continue to be diligent as they travel aboard the installation.

Installation Operations have returned CAMLEJ to Tropical Cyclone Condition 5 (TCC V) the seasonal condition of readiness. TCC V indicates the potential for the occurrence of destructive weather is elevated, but no specific system threatens the area.

Some MCCS facilities will resume operations at 1 p.m. today, to include the Wallace Creek Fitness Center, AS-4400 Fitness Center, Marine Corps Exchange on MCAS New River and the following Marine Marts:

  • Camp Johnson Marine Mart
  • Courthouse Bay Marine Mart
  • Tarawa Terrace Marine Mart
  • Berkeley Manor Marine Mart
  • Wallace Creek Marine Mart
  • Hwy 172 Marine Mart
  • French Creek Marine Mart

Child Development Centers and all other MCCS facilities will remain closed today. MCCS will resume normal operations on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023. DoDEA schools on Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River will resume normal operations on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023. For more information on DoDEA school cancellations, please visit: https://www.dodea.edu/americas/mid-atlantic/camp-lejeune-schools.

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, branch clinics, and pharmacies will resume normal operations on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023. The Trauma Center, Emergency Department, and Labor and Delivery will remain open today for emergencies only. The below closures to gates and PMO Administrative services on Camp Lejeune and MCAS New River will remain in effect:

  • Piney Green Commercial Vehicle Inspections will re-open at 5:30 a.m., 1 Sept.
  • Piney Green Gate:
    • Inbound will re-open at 5:30 a.m., 1 Sept
    • Outbound will re-open at 5:30 a.m., 1 Sept.
  • Douglass Gate will reopen at 5:30 a.m., 1 Sept
  • Curtis Gate Commercial Vehicle Inspections is open for normal business hours and degraded services today and will return to full service at 5 a.m., 1 Sept.
  • Tarawa Terrace Gate will re-open at 6 a.m., 1 Sept.
  • Camp Lejeune Visitor Center will re-open at 5 a.m., 1 Sept.
  • New River Visitor Center will re-open at 8 a.m., 1 Sept.
  • PMO Police Admin will re-open at 7:30 a.m., 1 Sept.
  • Vehicle Registration will re-open at 8 a.m., 1 Sept.
