MCB CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- A Hunting, Fishing and Conservation Open House will be held on Aug. 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Conservation Law Enforcement Office, Bldg. SAW-400 on Old Sawmill Road. This free and family-friendly open house is hosted by Conservation Law Enforcement and Land/Wildlife Resource Section along with MCB Camp Lejeune Environmental Conservation Branch.
This is an opportunity to speak with representatives from the Environmental Management Division, Conservation Law Enforcement, and other Environmental Conservation Branch sections. Learn about the history of MCB Camp Lejeune, forestry practices, wildlife management, and issues impacting threatened or endangered species. Also available will be birding information, a RecAccess "how to" on fishing and hunting on MCB Camp Lejeune, and demonstration on the processes for checking big game harvests.
This is an at-your-leisure event in which participants are encouraged to ask questions and interact with staff. Free cookout with burgers, hot dogs, sides, and beverages available while supplies last. Open to all authorized patrons. For questions, please call 910-451-5226.
