Power Outages scheduled March 27, April 17 and June 5

There will be a series of large power outages across Camp Lejeune scheduled for Saturday, March 27 and Saturday, April 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A day-long outage will also take place on Saturday, June 6 from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. or the work is complete. These outages are required to transfer power lines to a new upgraded substation in coordination with Duke Energy. 

This outage will affect a large number buildings, activities and some housing areas. All units and personnel have previously been notified of these outages.

Building affected include, but are not limited to, the warehouse district, regimental complex, II Marine Expeditionary Force headquarters, Hospital Point, including housing areas, G-6, IPAC, Bldg. 1, H&S Battalion, Bldg. 15 Medical/Dental Clinics, 2nd Marine Logistics Group headquarters, Wallace Creek Area, ANGLICO, some post offices, fire stations, PMO. MCCS activities affected include the Marine Corps Exchange and Commissary shopping complex, Wendy’s, Marine Marts and gas stations, Dominos, Wallace Creek Fitness Center and Marston Pavilion.
