Broda, a retired U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sergeant, was awarded for his professionalism and dedication toward strengthening civil-military cooperation. The NCDS presents best practices concerning the military, community, and defense industry with the goal of advancing North Carolina as the most military- and veteran-friendly state in the nation.
