U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Cody Slaughter, a dental assistant with 2nd Dental Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and a native of Abilene, Texas, opens biohazard bags on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Dec. 5, 2024. Slaughter was selected as warrior of the week for his dedication, leadership and work ethic that his command says sets him apart from his peers, ensuring mission success. When asked about his favorite part of his job, Slaughter said, “I think my favorite part of my job is interacting with the patients.
