MCB CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune’s Environmental Management Division will host a joint public meeting and Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026. Members from the community are welcome to attend.
The public meeting will discuss Sites Unexploded Ordnance (UXO)-28 and UXO-29 Proposed Plans. RAB presentations will be given on current Navy Installation Restoration Program funding and an overview of the Site 111 Remedial Investigation.
The joint meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Coastal Carolina Community College in the Business Technology Building, Room BT 106.
The Proposed Plans identify and discuss the preferred alternatives for addressing potential risks to human health. The preferred alternatives for UXO-28 and UXO-29 are land use controls. Information about both sites and the preferred alternatives will be presented at the meeting, with an opportunity for public comment.
