CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- A planned power outage is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 10, from noon to 4 p.m. that will affect large portions of Mainside Camp Lejeune, including the Industrial Area, Marine Corps Exchange Complex, Hadnot Point and Wallace Creek areas.
While essential capabilities on Mainside will continue to remain operational on backup power, the following more commonly-used services can be expected to be affected:
- The Commissary will remain open during normal business hours.
- Mainside Medical (Bldg. 15) will close at 11:30 a.m.
- The ID Card Center will close at 9 a.m.
- The Wallace Creek Fitness Center will be open from 4 a.m. until 12 p.m., then reopen from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
- The Main Exchange will be open from 8 to 11 a.m. and closed for the remainder of the day.
- Other area businesses, Marine Marts and restaurants will have adjusted hours or be closed all day.
