CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- Gates on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River will be individually closed or altered to both inbound/outbound traffic for three-hour periods to undergo preventative maintenance from April 28 to 30, 2025.
Dates and times of each closure are listed below, beginning with the Midway Park Gate on Monday afternoon. Base and air station patrons are encouraged to plan accordingly, and use suggested alternate routes listed below during these periods.
Monday, April 28, 2025
- Midway Park Gate from 3 to 6 p.m. (closed, use the Butler gate located on Holcomb Blvd., leading to NC-24 West)
- Piney Green Gate, closed at 5 p.m. (will resume normal hours April 29)
Tuesday, April 29, 2025
- Holcomb Gate from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. (closed, use Wilson or Piney Green)
- Camp Johnson Gate from 1 to 4 p.m. (closed, enter through Wilson and turn right on Bougainville Dr.)
- Robert L Wilson Blvd. from 3 to 6 p.m.
- Douglass Gate, closed at 5 p.m. (will resume normal hours April 30)
Wednesday, April 30, 2025
- Wilson Gate from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. (closed, use Holcomb or Piney Green)
- Sneads Ferry Gate from 1 to 4 p.m. (closed, use Holcomb or Wilson)
- Stone Bay Gate from 5 to 8 p.m. (drivers will be redirected to an alternate route after entering the installation)
