MCB CAMP LEJEUNE -- A low pressure will strengthen off our coast late tonight into Thursday and will bring the potential for minor snowfall accumulations to portions of the area. Installation leaders are closely monitoring the overnight forecast for possible impact to operations on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021. Based on the current NWS forecast, we do not anticipate any significant impacts, however; all members of the community are advised to exercise caution while driving in freezing and/or snowy conditions. Allow more time to travel, drive slowly, and increase following distance. If you believe that conditions are unsafe for you, contact your supervisor or chain of command and make appropriate arrangements.
The latest snowfall forecast, as well as the high end and low end amounts can always be found at weather.gov/mhx/winter.
