Niebel, commanding general, Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune signs the final beam for the topping out ceremony of the II Marine Expeditionary Force headquarters building on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Nov. 1, 2022. Construction of the new headquarters, located in the Wallace Creek area, began in January 2022 and is expected to be complete in June 2025.
