Angela Wade, a 911 dispatcher at the Camp Lejeune 911 Emergency Consolidated Communications Center, takes calls and monitors five different screens at the center, June 20. “It can be stressful,” she said of her job. “You have to be able to multitask.” The center is responsible for 911 calls from Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station New River and the satellite facilities.
