Provide fundamental information regarding the regulations, processes and support organizations related to Department of Defense contracts.

Foster networking and information sharing to support small businesses.

Ensure small businesses socio-economic goals are met.

Good morning businesses, 9 Sep 2026 and sixteen working days left until the end of Fiscal Year 2026!

Follow-up is critical in these last sixteen days.  DO NOT depend on "read receipts" on e-mails.  Get actual confirmation from contracting specialists/officers your proposals have been received.

My position has been reassigned to the Department of Navy, Office of Small Business Programs.  I still support Marine Corps Installations East and my support to businesses will not change.  However, you may not see as many posts from me as I work to get the approvals to continue to maintain this website.

I can still be reached at chris.rabassi@usmc.mil, 910-450-5549 and am still focused on helping businesses on how to be eligible and competitive for Department of War contracts.

I appreciate your patience during this time.
