U.S. Marines with the Maritime Special Purpose Force, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) provide sniper fire support for a MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th MEU landing aboard the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) during a simulated visit, board, search, and seizure as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) in the Atlantic Ocean, May, 9 2024. The Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG)-24th MEU is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea, certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
