Transferring from her past unit to 2nd Dental Battalion, Deleon felt she had big shoes to fill, she said, “coming here as a newly ranked E-5, expectations here were a bit high,” instead of letting that get in her way, her advice to overcome that challenge was to “ask for help, don’t procrastinate, and keep a positive attitude.” (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
