The Commander Charles K. Springle Behavioral Health Complex stands at Midway Park on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Dec. 4, 2023. Cmdr. Springle was killed in Iraq in 2009 after serving 21 years in the U.S. Navy as a licensed clinical social worker. In his memory, the building honors his dedication to helping fellow service members.
