Family members of Cmdr. Charles K. Springle pose for a photo at the Commander Charles K. Springle Behavioral Health Complex building rededication ceremony at Midway Park on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Dec. 4, 2023. Springle was killed in Iraq in 2009 after serving 21 years in the U.S. Navy as a licensed clinical social worker. In his memory, the building honors his dedication to helping fellow service members.
