Company A, Headquarters and Support Battalion’s first sergeant, 1st Sgt. Nicole Freres, smiles as she leads the battalion in Semper Fit exercises aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Aug. 3. Freres who is a Semper Fit instructor is thrilled to be leading her final battalion physical training doing something she is particularly passionate about before retiring late this month.
