Vaccination stations have been set up at the Wallace Creek Fitness Center gym which is now operating as a mass COVID-19 vaccination center to support Marine Corps Installations East personnel and beneficiaries on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 16, 2021. Wallace Creek Vaccine Site

Effective immediately, the Wallace Creek Vaccine Site will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The site will permanently close at noon on Jan. 7, 2022 and will be closed during the Christmas (Dec. 24-27) and New Year’s (Dec. 31 – Jan. 3) holiday periods.The COVID Vaccine Site at Wallace Creek Fitness Center is offering booster shots

The NC Forest Service issued a burn ban on all open burning and has canceled all burning permits statewide effective Nov. 29 at 5 p.m. until further notice due to hazardous forest fire conditions.
