CAMP LEJEUNE, NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES -- Due to recent events in New Orleans and Las Vegas, Commander NORTHCOM has directed all installations to immediately implement heightened security measures at all entry gates to include 100% ID checks, random inspections and the suspension of the Trusted Traveler program until further notice. The Trusted Traveler Program was a procedure that allowed DoD-affiliated sponsors to vouch for vehicle occupants to gain entry onto an installation.
