CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- The installation is monitoring the potential for winter weather next week. While it is too early to determine full extent of any significant impacts to the installation and surrounding communities, many services will be affected by the storm to include:
- Reduced services and early closures of MCCS facilities, including child development centers, Marine Marts, Marine Corps Exchange and fitness centers are likely
- Some gates and bridges will close due to dangerous conditions
- Power outages are possible due to potential high winds
- Speak with your chain of command or work supervisor regarding reporting requirements
More specific service information will be posted here and on social media early next week when the weather forecast becomes more defined.
