Sgt. William Holls, a combat instructor with Mobile Training Company, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry – East, is presented the Navy and Marine Corps Medal during a ceremony held aboard Camp Geiger, July 15, for saving a Marine’s life while conducting training in the grenade pit in September 2009. Holls was the pit noncommissioned officer in charge for Range K510, Pit 2, when a Marine in his pit dropped with a live grenade.
