"Home of Expeditionary Forces in Readiness"
Beginning Monday, Feb. 29, Camp Lejeune's new access control program RAPIDGate will offer applicants more time to register. RAPIDGate registration and issuance hours will be extended at Buildings 812 (the contractor vetting office before the Main Gate) and 251(the former site of Camp Lejeune's bus station near the traffic circle). New hours of operation will be 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Customers are highly encouraged to use the Appointment Plus program through RAPIDGate to schedule an appointment at either building for RAPIDGate card issuance. Walk-ins for card issuance will be taken on a space-available basis. RAPIDGate registration can be completed at both locations with four registration kiosks at Building 812 and two kiosks at Building 251.
All legacy badges that had not already expired will be treated as 30-day temporary passes as of Feb. 23rd.
By March 23rd, anyone with a legacy badge who has not registered for RAPIDGate will be required to apply for a temporary pass at the contractor vetting office every four days. A RAPIDGate card typically takes 14 to 21 days to process, so any company or service provider working with the base is encouraged to register now to avoid extensive wait times.
To enroll in RAPIDGate call 1-877-RAPIDGate (1-877-727-4342) or visit rapidgate.com/enroll. Assisted registration at your company's location may be available if you have 50 or more employees to register.
