MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Major General Robert C. Dickerson, base commanding general, receives the C.A. McKinney award Feb. 11 at Sywanyck's Scarlet and Gold Traditions restaurant during a ceremony hosted by the Noncommissioned Officers Association. Retired Sgt. Maj. Joe Houle, a former award winner and current executive for the NCOA, presented Dickerson the award along with the nights other winner, retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Richard Schneider. "Major General Dickerson has been taking care of Marines and Sailors for many years now," said Houle. "He's a problem solving kind of guy. If you go to him with a problem, he's going to fix it."
