JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - Names of the fallen Beirut service members are carved into the stone of the Beirut Memorial at Lejeune Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, N.C., Oct. 23. More than 300 service members, family members, veterans and local residents paid their respects during the Beirut Memorial Observance Ceremony to those lost during the Beirut Embassy bombing 30 years ago.
