MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- Jim Wayne, a local author and poet, reads one of his poems at one of the Harriotte B. Smith Library's Open Mike Poetry Nights here Oct. 24. The library hosts the readings monthly for service members, civilian employees and family members for them to express their creative works. The next reading will be Nov. 2 at the library.
