Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro shakes hands with Marines during a live-fire demonstration of range G-36 at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 28, 2022. Del Toro's visit to Camp Lejeune provided an opportunity for Marines and Sailors to demonstrate how the U.S. naval force remains the most powerful in the world by continuing to build, train and equip itself to meet the warfighting needs of today. During his visit, Del Toro was briefed on Littoral Exercise I, which had service members experimenting with new tactics and force structures in littoral environments along the East Coast to prepare for future scenarios.
