Naval personnel clean an unconscious victim of contaminants during a decontamination drill at the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, May 24, 2018. According to NMCCL decontamination is a vital asset in preparing sailors to handle hazardous material situations. Contamination can be caused by anything from severe hazards like anthrax to extreme amounts of chlorine.
