Brig. Gen. Robert F. Castellvi, the commanding general of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, reads to a 4th grade class at Tarawa Terrace Elementary School aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Monday. Castellvi visited the school to support Read Across America Day, an annual nationwide literacy event. “I am so proud to be a part of this program,” said Castellvi. “Reading sets the foundation for all learning. An enthusiasm for reading in our kids can start a spark that will ignite a thirst for knowledge and set them up for the future.”
