Capt. Matthew Kutilek speaks to Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune medical staff while explaining his recent surgery at the Chief Westfield building on the NHCL campus aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Kutilek has undergone 10 surgeries, attended multiple physical therapy and pain management appointments since his right leg was struck by an enemy sniper’s round on March 5, 2010 in the Helmand province, Afghanistan.
