Members of the Montford Point Marine Association, Inc., pose for a group photo during a reception party aboard Camp Johnson, formerly known as Montford Point Camp, Aug. 26. Senate Resolution 587 declared Aug. 26, 2010 as Montford Point Marine Day, which formally recognizes the 68th anniversary of the day the first African-American recruits enlisted into the Marine Corps and started training on Montford Point.
