Recently Marines with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, gathered with their families in the Area 5 gym to say their goodbyes before leaving for a deployment. Little did they know, there was a special guest who dropped by to also pass on her best wishes to the Marines. Dr. Jill Biden, the wife of Vice President Joe Biden, came to visit Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station New River and Coastal Carolina Community College. While on her trip, she paid a visit to the Marines and their families before the Marines departed.
